You failed to mention that you need a minimum amount of coins to get rewards. Also that amount increases every year. It also increase rewards every year.

I found it is 1.5 billion on Coinbase.

Algo wallet requires you or someone else to trigger the rewards (from rewards to actual balance), without a trigger, there is no compounding. so, say you have to trigger the rewards yourself, by sending algo to yourself, that’s a fee of 0.001, which as a newbie, is a huge hit to the ROI…Coinbase Skims off the top, but their compounded interest goes back into your wallet daily, without a fee. I could be wrong about Algo wallet, and I hope i am, as i’ve only been on the platform for a day. but i think i might move my money to the next highest paying and actually receive the compounding.
In my experience, you’re right.. but yesterday’s video had a few comments stating otherwise. I feel the 0.001 fee is better to pay versus losing almost 2% reward shares.
