Bitcoin is up over 8800 today and it seems to struggle getting past 8900, as you see on the chart. Btc failed to break through this point three times already, including twice yesterday and once today what happened today? Well, it looks like it may happen, there's very little to stop Bitcoin at this point and after breaking 8900, the next major resistance will be ninety three hundred and after that 10k is right around the corner. Bitcoins momentum is now in full swing. We can now see it, we can now feel it. Things are turning positive once again and with the halving event coming up and some global instability going on BBC is looking like it's going to be making big moves in 2020. Now what BBC's rise, BBC's dominance also went up today. The altcoin rally, especially with bch and bsv cooled off. The same goes with a lot of the privacy coins that we're all exploding. Yesterday, too, we saw a lot of all. Coins go up. 20. 30. 50. 80. A hundred percent yesterday and they've all cooled off significantly today, it's curious, though, because I was looking at BS V and B CH was looking at their charts at the same time and they both sold off. At the same time, it seems like there's, some mysterious wail behind the scenes, that's manipulating the prices. Probably that whale was the cause of the pump in the first place, and now that whale is either getting ready to exit or already has, and the same goes with some of these other coins.
I was pumping yesterday for no apparent reason. So right now you got to be careful because it may come all back into BDC. Suddenly, speaking of bsv, Craig Wright claims to have received the keys to the 1.1 million Bitcoin, he says belongs to him and a new court filing Craig Wright claims that the bonded carrier has arrived. If true, what is he going to do? Because recently his buddy has been saying that, even if he did get his 1.1 million Bitcoin doesn't mean he just goes, sell it off right away. This is certainly a tournament bench, because previously Craig Wright says he just goes, sell everything to pump PSV. That may not be the case anymore, but does anyone care? Is there any panic going on? No, because if there was the BBC would be falling rapidly. However, this news has helped PSV pump over a hundred percent within a day, but that pump is fading, so what's. Next we'll do that to wait and see. Bitwise today admitted that they have withdrawn their Bitcoin etf proposal from the SEC to quote bitwise. We did indeed withdraw the application. This is a procedural step and we intend to refile a application at appropriate time. According to this article, the firm met with the SEC eight times and answered all their questions, but no dice the SEC at this point seems to have no interest in improving a Bitcoin ETF. It'S really curious, though, why the SEC has such a hard stance when its neighbour, the CFTC, has allowed Futures come into the market and also options.
So when will we actually see a Bitcoin ETF, probably not in 2020? Lastly, Brian Kelly, a Bitcoin bull and a frequent guest on CNBC's fast money was asked about bitcoins sudden rise yesterday. Brian says BBC's price may be a little bit ahead of the game right now and he was optimistically cautious. His reasoning is actually based on a number of addresses out number address being created. He says back in 2019, when the price is low, number of addresses was reaching all time highs, which means that the price was lagging, but right now he says the opposite is true. He seems to think that we may be a little bit ahead. We might come down, but overall he's still very optimistic. I don't know this is kind of weird for me, because number address is important, but we know that most of these addresses are just created by people that's already in the game. Most of us have more than one address in. In fact, most of us probably have three four five ten address to our names. For me, I think other indicators, such as the hash rate of Bitcoin, going up and up and up. I think this is a lot more significant, the number of addresses, but I think everything shows that the fundamentals is still improving despite the price and that's a good thing, all right, that's, today's, Bitcoin and cryptocurrency news for January 15th.
